We have read three short stories so far this year, as a class, all the students contribute on a list of different words, with these words we make flash cards out of them to understand that words have contractions.
I want my students to be able to progress into higher reading levels, and this game on the computer does not only reinforce the words, but also helps improve their memory skills: Contraction Memory Match.
Rounding numbers, learning the places!
Students love going on this website, as a classroom or individually to practice their math skills.
Fact or Opinion? Thanks to our friend, Arthur, we have explored the difference between a fact, or an opinion.
This game has audio as they show the picture of what Arthur is saying, for example: He shows a picture of his friend, she is wearing pink slippers. He states: "She is wearing pink slippers, is this a fact or an opinion?" It is up to you to figure it out.
Have fun and learn!
